Voices of the Lac La Biche Region: An Oral History Project
The Lac La Biche Museum invites community members to share their stories and lived experiences to help preserve and celebrate our region’s history.

Interviews are recorded with consent, and participants choose what they want to share.

We are especially interested in stories about:

  • Community traditions and ways of life
  • Military Service, Forestry Work or other occupations
  • Family life, education, and work
  • Changes in the region over time/ Notable Regional Events
  • Local Métis and Indigenous history
  • Land-based knowledge and cultural practices

Help preserve the history of our community. Your story matters.
