Our Visitors

From Gjoa Haven in the far north to Windsor in the south, and from St. John’s on the Atlantic coast to Whitehorse in the Yukon, visitors from every province and territory have found their way to the Lac La Biche Museum. They come to explore the rich story of the boreal forest, the legacy of the fur trade, and the everyday life of a small Canadian town through the centuries. Here, they discover a place that embraces the local multicultural spirit, highlights hidden histories, and sparks deeper connections to the land and its people.

This interactive map shows where our visitors came from between 2019 and 2024. Each point represents a real connection to a person or family who chose to learn more about the Lac La Biche region’s history, culture, and its place in Canada’s wider story.

We hope to welcome you soon and add your town, village, or city to the map!
